First Annual Dave Broussard Ac and Heating Crawfish Boil

Davy hosted a crawfish boil at our house for all of his employees and thier families. The weather held out for us this weekend. While it was predicted that we would have a high percentage of rain we were very lucky this weekend that rain did not affect Lauren's Birthday party or the Crawfish Boil. After such a busy weekend I am ready for a rest!

Two Years old and counting!

Lauren had her 2nd birthday party today. She had loads of fun. Her favorite gift seemed to be the ball pit, we even resorted to opening the rest of the presents inside of it.... Pony rides were given to those who were interested. My little cowgirl princess got her very own wand and enjoyed showing off her new wardrobe. She enjoyed playing with her cousins Alyssa and Mia and loved having Andrew play in her kitchen. Jayden seemed to get as many gifts as she did even though his birthday was only a few weekends ago...Tomorrow we have the company crawfish boil. Here are a few of my favorite pics of the day.

Well this post won't be very long, getting ready for Lauren's party tomorrow and Dave has his company Crawfish boil here on Sunday. The weather doesn't look like it will cooperate but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Just finished Lauren's Birthday cake. Here is my masterpeice :) No more cakes until next May.

Getting ready for Bday number 2!

Well as I mentioned May is all about birthdays for the Broussard Family. I am addressing envelopes for Lauren's party today and they should be in the mail tomorrow. I said I would share Lauren's baby doll with you so here she is.....the new addition to the family. I know she would really love a puppy dog for her birthday so I'm working on Daddy, I think he'll cave. So perhaps our family will expand some more!

Mother's Day Weekend

We spent this weekend at the camp. We had a great time. It was Jayden's first time in the "big water" - the canal in front of our camp. He had a blast. I am sure this will only lead to more excitement when he hears we are heading for the camp again. Our warfs top deck is complete and Trent was the first to try it out. Still a kid at heart I also gave it a try. I did not do any fancy dives, I chose the more conservative feet first strategy and it was a definate adrenaline rush. We spent Mother's day at my Mom and Dad's. The kids enjoyed the day outside under the oak trees that I so loved to play under myself. Jayden got his first "shiner" He got in a fight with the airplane swing......other than his blue cheek it was a great weekend and I am blessed with beautiful children of my own to celebrate this Day with.

Jayden 4th Bday Party

4 Years old and counting

Jayden is turning four tomorrow and he had a terrific Birthday party this past weekend. The theme was Batman and his room might as well be a cave for all the batmans living in it now. He and his friends enjoyed his batman fun jump/slide. He is getting to be such a big boy, he no longer resembles a baby and he picks up all grown up slang which sometimes makes me smile when I hear it coming from his little mouth (other times I am cringing ) He picked me a handful of flowers this morning, they are sitting pretty in a vase on my windowsill. He also delivered to me a cup with a slimy frog. He was so proud of his new pet which he happily pronouced dead 10 minutes later. I gave him the all living things are special speech, I don't think it did a bit of good. Did I mention that Davy got him a real BB gun for his birthday. All for now
